Millie G got to attend her first Maxey family reunion this weekend. I believe I was just slightly younger than she is when I attended mine and haven't missed one yet!! She LOVED seeing all the people googling over her! She even took a nice nap laying on top of a table! I didn't take enough pics of my own because other family members were taking lots. I'll post those when I get them. Anyway, she had a slight meltdown in the car just outside of Waxahachie, so we pulled over, sat her in front of the air vents, changed her diaper and carried on. She just gets too hot sitting in her car seat. Those things are safe, but they sure don't allow for much air circulation in 106 degree weather :P Anyway, we got her home, gave her a cool bath, and she slept from 7:30 p.m. until 6:15 a.m., so we were very happy with that!
What we've learned this weekend: 1)Millie G is a social butterfly 2)Millie G doesn't sleep when she's at home because we're too quiet for her :P 3)Texas is too hot for a 3 month old to sit in a car seat for 2.5 hours (I bought a battery operated misting fan at Wal-Mart today, and she loves being sprayed by it).
It was a great, but tiring weekend and it was great seeing all the family members again!

Millie was an angel yesterday! Glad she slept well last night. They say sleep during the day helps sleep at night. Maybe you need to start hanging out in large crowds during the day!
Millie was a perfect angel at the Reunion! I was one proud Pappy! I am glad you all enjoyed the Reunion even though it was soo hot! Maybe moving it up two weeks will help with the weather some! See ya soon. Love you guys!! Pappy V. said it.......
