Two Week Checkup

We took Amelia in for her 2 week checkup today. Everything looks great! She's up to 7 lbs. 2 oz and has grown and inch and a half to 20.5 inches! She's actually gaining weight faster than the average, but the doc said that's ok with him. We're trying to keep her on a three hour feeding schedule so that she sleeps more at night. We'll see how that works out for us. It worked great last night and we actually got 4 hours sleep from midnight to 4!! Of course, as we're learning, everything can change in 24 hours :P

We tried to hold a photo shoot to get some pics for Mom's B-day photo frame and here's what we got. One grumpy look and one hand in the face. Guess we'll keep working on the picture taking :P

Amelia's Room

Joe's mom came over and helped us paint a little mural above the crib. I think it turned out pretty well. It's based on the bedding and something I saw online. Joe is so proud of his blue bird and I did the letters above :)

Baby Shower

Justin and Michelle threw us a great Baby Shower at their house. We got a lot of things that we really needed! The cake was just too cute :)

So, I Made A Blog

So, I drank the Kool-Aid. I really don't feel like I have anything interesting enough to say that anyone would really care to read about at the moment. However, as I expect my life to get much more interesting in the future, please check back then. Oh, and that's my dog, Ali.
