Domo Arigato Mr. Roboto

I just had to share a pic of these cute pj's I found for Millie G. They are actually meant to be for boys (I guess because of the robot on the side), but I just couldn't pass up the bright orange! Now she matches her Iggy chair too :)

Happy Four Month B-Day Millie!

Here are some pics of some activities we've been doing so far today. At four months, Millie is having more and more fun with her toys. She really likes the ones that make the most noise. She also likes to lay in her crib and talk to herself and her crib buddies (the mobile). She has also learned how to rotate sideways and turn her Fisher Price Aquarium thingy on and off with her foot. She turned it on last night at around 11:00 p.m. so we had to go an actually flip the "Off" switch so it wouldn't keep her up. She still doesn't love tummy time, but she's getting better at it, especially if she's on the living room floor. She loves to stand up and just giggles and giggles every time you pull her into a standing position (this one is going to be trouble soon). We go to the doctor Friday for her checkup and next round of shots. We also get to start her on some foods this weekend! I think she's getting bored of the formula, so I'm glad about that.

Here's a shot of tummy time

The Weekend and Random Pics

On Sunday we took a trip out to Ft. Worth. First we made a pit stop at Granny and Papa John's house and then continued on to John and Mel's house to play with Ilsa.

Check out the devoted fathers...

These next pics are from the family reunion last weekend, but I just got the pics :)

Millie's Sweet Ride

So, I had the idea to put Amelia in this umbrella stoller that we have to give her another vantage point around the house. Even though it doesn't look like it in the pics, she really likes being wheeled around from room to room. It gives me a chance to take her with me easily when I'm dusting or vacuuming. The dogs also love it because it puts Amelia on their level and they get to sniff her all they want :)

Millie's First Family Reunion

Millie G got to attend her first Maxey family reunion this weekend. I believe I was just slightly younger than she is when I attended mine and haven't missed one yet!! She LOVED seeing all the people googling over her! She even took a nice nap laying on top of a table! I didn't take enough pics of my own because other family members were taking lots. I'll post those when I get them. Anyway, she had a slight meltdown in the car just outside of Waxahachie, so we pulled over, sat her in front of the air vents, changed her diaper and carried on. She just gets too hot sitting in her car seat. Those things are safe, but they sure don't allow for much air circulation in 106 degree weather :P Anyway, we got her home, gave her a cool bath, and she slept from 7:30 p.m. until 6:15 a.m., so we were very happy with that!

What we've learned this weekend: 1)Millie G is a social butterfly 2)Millie G doesn't sleep when she's at home because we're too quiet for her :P 3)Texas is too hot for a 3 month old to sit in a car seat for 2.5 hours (I bought a battery operated misting fan at Wal-Mart today, and she loves being sprayed by it).

It was a great, but tiring weekend and it was great seeing all the family members again!

Busy Weekend Day 2 (A little late)

So, Millie G and I completed our weekend with a visit to Granny and Papa John's house.

Their "children" don't know quite what to make of Amelia.

On our way home, we stopped by Justin and Michelle's to say "hi" to Pappy. The girls stayed happy just long enough for one pic. Brody, however, would not cooperate!
